Custom Backtesting, But Faster

This week we (greatly) improved response times for an API-based custom backtesting solution powering a third-party investment app.

The secret? A new function-based index on a +40MM row table we were querying. Pretty nifty, function-based indexes are!

Work: What's Coming Next

It's important to keep velocity high. We keep ourselves accountable by sharing what we hope to finish over the next week.
